Its been one helluva year so far. Oh, wait. Add to it the last part of last year's December. Now, this, has been one of the bestest times of my life. Lots of friends, great places, good college (teachers, subjects et cetera), lots of positives.

All started with the Mumbai trip. With Shrimai, a classmate (now a friend :P) encouraging my floating desires of visiting Mumbai. Then followed the awesome hospitality, 4 awesome people (Hema, Neha, Anusha and Prajna, in no particular order!), superb mumbai, its food, people, trains, places, cars, buildings, old roads and shopping areas, heavy traffic, what not!
The Seven. We went crazy.

Soon the shopping with 4 girls, the eating at every roadside shop, the tireless roaming and lots of spent money and everything was overwhelming me and vacation got over pretty soon after i returned.

Well, now, I thought i had enough for some time to come, when this SPIC MACAY group decides they want to go for a trip. The next weekend. And they wouldn't budge. Afterall, they were the seniors. So, after some begging from parents for permission and some convincing later, we are on bus again. Needless to tell, these people in the picture were also the part of the mad bunch of youth stuffed into the bus singing madly all the way at night.

That's all of us, i guess. Well, who took the photo? :P

The morning started with stargazing on road and anticipation of the ever delaying sun, but soon turned out to be better and better. 3 hours of bathing in sea, frisbee, water games and water-GPL later, tiredness was surprisingly keeping away from me. We walked, ate, played and suddenly made a crazier plan. Well, when everything we were doing looked crazy, you may ask what can be crazier. Well, this certainly was. We saw a hill, we decided to climb it. It was barren, that was the main reason we decided to do that, but anyway we were crazy.

On the top of that hill.

We climbed steep slopes, quite  bit rough terrain, tresspassed several fences, basically walked at our will to reach the top of the hill. Nevertheless, it was worthy. Worthy of every penny we could pay, worthy of every calorie i shredded on the way. The sight brilliant, the jubilance enthralling and the height dizzying. Oh wait, that's not it.

We'd come here from that corner of the beach visible over Hema's head. Dizzying indeed.
We came, We saw, We conquered.

We saw another hill. Guess what? Nah, i'm not paying you for that guess. But yeah, we did decide to scale it too. On the way we met the most unexpected guys - a bunch of Mallus from NITK who were jaywalking across the hills. A chat and a couple of minutes later, our eyes were treated what remains to be one of the dreamiest places i've been to. Well, it didnt have anything special, it was not the most beautifully arranged set of rocks, it was not the deadliest in the world. But it was awesome. And moreover, all that separated us from the place was a fence, this time unscalable, and a sudden cut in the landmass.
Aaaand finally!!!

We were standing at the edge of the cliff after we managed to walk around the fence and the wall. And the view stuns us. Deep down, hundreds of feet deep, there is sea hugging rocks and giving a hollywood-ish sight. What intrigued us more, is the sight of a foreigner, sitting on one of the rocks in the depth, on a Yoga Mat, going yoga! That got us going. We had to reach the bottom. We took a long, winding, steep, rocky, sometimes shaky path to the bottom. Soon, we had reached the rock-bottom. It felt like we had achieved something. Well, yes. It was amazing.

The rest of the evening went like a breeze. We waited for the rest of the people, sleeping on a rock. After they came, we spent some time chatting away, then got in the bus, and were asleep in minutes! We woke up only when we had reached our college.

Apart from the trip, there were a lot of events too. The visit to Alva's Viraasat, the National Youth Festival's two days (i mean, evenings), the food stalls, Aradhana's struggles, Aradhana auditions, Aradhana concerts, and so on.

Mostly, it has been SPIC MACAY. I am slowly falling in love with the entire group and spending some quality time with them. Its not very costly on my academic timetable, that's what i love about this group.

Well, that's about the January. I'm going to put some more pics soon.
