How to install a new theme for gvim?

This - Wombat - is the best theme i encountered for vim - it's a mixture of desert and some other changes.
Copy the theme file (usually *.vim) to ~/.vim/colors.
Now update your .vimrc (in ~) to add:

colorscheme wombat
